NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Throw out a yellow ball with holes in it, add a paddle and take them to a court with four local celebrities, and you have the Pickleball with the Stars event, scheduled for June 4, at 9 a.m. at the J. Bryan Bryan Floyd Community Center in North Myrtle Beach.
Tickets are $15 for adults with free admission for children 10 and under. All proceeds from the event go to a fund drive for the construction of outdoor pickleball courts at J. Bryan Floyd Community Center.
A variety show will follow the tournament.
