NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- The North Myrtle Beach City Council met in a regularly scheduled meeting on March 20, 2023, at 7 p.m.
The Knights of Columbus presented the City of North Myrtle Beach Police Department with donated teddy bears. The teddy bears are given to children during traumatic circumstances by police officers throughout the year.
The items below were approved on the consent agenda:
A. RESOLUTION: Expansion of the Festival Zone within the Barefoot Landing Shopping Center (PASSED)
B. MOTION TO APPROVE: Main Street Show Time Charity Car Show (PASSED)
C. ORDINANCE/SECOND READING: Petition for Annexation and Zoning Designation for 0.52 acres on Cenith Drive (PASSED)
D. ORDINANCE/SECOND READING: Petition for Annexation and Zoning Designation for 0.27 acres on Cashmere Lane (PASSED)
E. ORDINANCE/SECOND READING: Petition for Annexation and Zoning Designation for 0.24 acres on Cashmere Lane (PASSED)
There were two new items on the agenda.
A. ORDINANCE/FIRST READING: An Intergovernmental Agreement relating to South Carolina Local Revenue Services, to participate in one or more local revenue service programs, and to execute and deliver one or more participant program supplements (PASSED)
B. ORDINANCE/FIRST READING: Amend Chapter 5, Beaches and Waterway, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of North Myrtle Beach adopting Section 5-28, Mooring Boats or Vessels (PASSED)
