FUNERAL FOR HORRY COUNTY POLICE LANCE CORPORAL MELTON GORE IS JANUARY 20
POST-FUNERAL MOTORCADE PROCESSION WILL PASS THROUGH ATLANTIC BEACH AND NORTH MYRTLE BEACH
The funeral for Horry County Police Lance Corporal Melton Gore will be held Wednesday, January 20, 11:00 am, at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. 
After the funeral, around 1:00 pm, the Horry County Police Department will lead a motorcade procession for Officer Gore that will include passage through Atlantic Beach and North Myrtle Beach on the way to Mt. Calvary Church in Little River.
Intersections will close temporarily to enable the procession to pass through, and motorists can expect delays along the procession route:
• Myrtle Beach Convention Center, right onto North Oak Street
• Right onto 21st Avenue North
• Right onto Hwy 17 Bypass, North, Hwy 17 North
• Right onto 32nd Avenue South (Atlantic Beach)
• Left onto South Ocean Boulevard
• Left onto 29th Avenue South
• Right onto Hwy 17 North
• Merge left onto Hwy 9 North
• Right onto Hwy 57 North
• Left onto Union Church Road
• Right onto Oscar Road
• Right onto Albert Road
• Right onto Hwy 111
• Stop at Mt. Calvary Church, Little River
