The North Myrtle Beach Municipal Election Commission met March 4 at 10:00 am at City Hall to certify the results of the March 2 special election for one At-Large City Council seat:

-- Terry Jeffers – 41

-- Bob Lucas – 284

-- Michael Mishoe – 50

-- Ron Nichols – 514

-- Elizabeth Anne Prince - 49

-- Ed Ramey – 9

-- Trey Skidmore – 961

-- Write-In Votes -- 2 

To win an election outright, a candidate must achieve 50% of the total votes cast, plus one. No candidate met that criteria in this election, and there will be a March 16, 2021 runoff election between the two candidates with the most votes: Trey Skidmore with 961 votes, and Ron Nichols with 514 votes.
