A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for Northeastern SC and Southeastern NC through Friday morning.
- Tropical moisture from Eta ahead of an approaching cold front will lead to moderate to heavy rainfall, mainly in the late morning through evening hours.
- Additional 2-4” of rain forecasted through Friday, with isolated higher amounts possible
- A marginal risk of severe weather is also present today across the area, with isolated strong winds as the main threat. A weak tornado or two cannot be ruled out. Currently, the main threat window is Thursday afternoon
- Minor to moderate river flooding is forecasted beginning this weekend.
